Why is it important to know what your blood sugar is doing if you are not someone with diabetes?

1 our of 3 people in the US right now has pre-diabetes, and 90% don’t know it. You cannot look at someone and suspect prediabetes, and yet the idea that you can is still prevalent, even among health care providers. That bias drives a lack of both testing and discussion.
